Brilliant, Liam is amazing and my little boy loves going and building his strength, whilst also having the opportunity to mix with other children

Building Confidence and Strength

25 February 2024

Both boys love Little Ninjas. It has definitely helped with our eldest’s confidence. They like to set themselves targets when attending classes. They are definitely more interested in exercise than they were before and are wanting to eat healthier too which is great. The class is good for social skills too as they are mixing with children from other schools.

Pushing Boundaries and Strengthening Confidence

Out of all the sports they do, calisthenics is the one they all get most excited about going to. Only been going for a month but already, their confidence has boosted in doing exercises and their upper body strength is improving massively. My middle son Dougie, has always held himself back through confidence with sports. But we have just been out to Ninja Warriers in Liverpool, and he is like a new child!! Giving his best go on things he would never have even attempted before.

Increased Social Skills and Confidence

25 February 2024

Son has adhd and autism so can become overwhelmed in new environments very easily.

He loves coming the gym each week and has made new friends within the gym environment.

His confidence has improved when trying new things, and the gym helps him let off steam in a safe and welcoming environment

He looks up to the staff, and trusts them when trying the new obstacles set up.

Emotional Growth and Exercise Enjoyment

25 February 2024

Although my son has only had 1 session at behind bars, his time during that session had a really positive effect on him and he can’t wait for his next session! He went in feeling nervous as he didn’t know what to expect or know any other kids there but left feeling like he was already part of the team as not just the staff, but the other kids made him feel really welcome! There’s so many different exercise areas here, he was trying things he wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to try anywhere else!

The sessions were brilliant and both boys loved attending. My older son enjoyed the challenge of trying out the different equipment and activities aswell as seeing an improvement in his fitness. My youngest son started to show alot of interest in keeping fit and eating healthy and was really proud to tell friends and family about the sessions.

Boost in Confidence and Social Skills

25 February 2024

My son is on the assessment pathway for ASD and ADHD. He finds it very difficult to regulate his emotions, socialise and stick to clubs/activity etc. The Ninjas sessions have been brilliant for him. They give him focus and direction. He finds the sessions challenging and sets himself a goal each week. This enables him opportunity to focus and develop resilience, confidence, and self belief, as well as experiencing positive failure. It is important to have these experiences in order to navigate strategies to overcome barriers/obstacles and learn ways to succeed and achieve. These are life skills for our kids. The sessions are fundamental for my son in terms of social connection. The content of the activity often depends on team work, decision making, negotiation and problem solving. Again, these are life skills that children should have opportunity to develop in their day to day experiences. My son loves the sessions and looks forward to them each week. The goals he sets himself within the sessions are measurable so he is able to see the progress he makes each week. My son is small for his age, these sessions enable him to see how he is strong, both physically and mentally. This has really supported him in overcoming his insecurities about being smaller than his peers. His confidence has come on leaps and bounds.
